is an ideal spot to include in a family day out with it`s interesting

a good place to start on an outing South into the Lammermuir Hills or

of a wander along it’s banks, while the Linn can be spectacular
when the river is in spate. The local bowling green with its Clubhouse can provide a pleasant afternoon or evening. Tyninghame Bay, 3 Miles to the East, is a popular area for picnics, bathing, bird watching or merely wandering along the beach, over the headland or around the mud-flats.
